Welcome to our HCA—CA Contra Costa County Chapter page. We invite you to join us at one of our meetings. We encourage you to get in touch with us if you need information or would like to get involved. We would love to hear from you.

Regular Activities: Seeking endorsements, tabling at events, work on education, publicity, membership, and fundraising goals. We have a dedicated team working on these items in West County. The West County Team co-conveners are Betty Brown (510.524.6071) and Nel Benningshof (nel@lumina-media.com.)

Meetings: The Contra Costa County Chapter meets monthly on Sunday afternoon from 3 pm to 5 pm. The meetings are held in the Building 1 Conference Room (Clinic Building) at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, 2500 Alhambra Avenue, Martinez.  2010 meeting dates: Mar 7, Apr 11, Jun 6, Jul 11, Aug 8, Sep 12, Oct 10, Nov 14, Jan 9, 2011. (No 2010 May or Dec meetings.)

The West County Team meets on Tuesday evening from 7 pm to 8:30 pm, usually the week after the Contra Costa County Chapter meeting. The meetings are held at the Richmond Health Center, 100-38th Street, Richmond, Conference Room 2303.  2010 meeting dates: Mar 16, Apr 20, May 18, Jun 15, Jul 20, Aug 17, Sep 21, Oct 19, Nov 16, Dec – no meeting, Jan 18, 2011.

Sponsorships:  The Chapter will be delighted to be considered for sponsorships of single payer related events in Contra Costa County, such as rallies, conferences, etc. We can help in many different ways, all sponsorship requests will be considered by our Executive Committee. Please forward all sponsorship requests as early as possible to our Chair Pat Snyder at patsnydr@aol.com. Clearly state the purpose of your event, provide a list of the main sponsor and co-sponsors, and indicate by what date you need a response. Include an explanation of the expectations, publicity, staffing, financial, etc. of sponsorship requested. The Chapter looks forward to working with you.
